Warranty Policy & Repairs

FixxRx Flat Irons and Hair Dryers carry a warranty that it will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Please follow the warranty policy requirements carefully. Only warranty replacements are permitted. No refunds will be issued under the warranty policy. 

This warranty does not cover damages resulting from:

  • accident, physical, damage, submersion into water;

  • cord damage, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care; or

  • affixing of any attachments not provided with the product, loss of parts or subjecting the appliance to any but the specified voltage

FixxRx Flat Irons and Hair Dryers may not be used in any other country other than the country of purchase. Using an iron in countries other than the one in which it was purchased is considered misuse and any damage that is incurred is not covered under warranty.

FixxRx does not perform repairs nor provide replacement parts for the structural body of any of our tools, including the fan or any switches. Replacement concentrator nozzle and diffusers can be provided upon request. Though not recommended, repairs may be locally sourced from a small appliance repair location. 

Getting Your Tool Replaced: Warranty Exchange Process & Requirements

To receive your warranty exchange in an efficient and timely manner, we ask that you assess your warranty eligibility prior to sending us your request for a warranty exchange. Please see below under product guideline. We also recommend that you go through the proper channels for warranty exchanges and ensure that you have your required proof of purchase on hand.

When purchased through an authorized retailer (Salon location or retail store):

The product should be returned with original sales receipt to the retailer where the unit was purchased. A replacement unit may be offered at the sole discretion of the retailer upon inspection to confirm warranty eligibility if within the 1-year warranty period. Please contact us if you are unable to perform the warranty exchange at the original place of purchase. Please ensure that you have a copy of the receipt/proof of purchase.

When purchased directly from FixxRx:

Please email info@fixxrx.com with a detailed description of the issue (please see below for examples) and the order number that was provided in your order confirmation email and receipt. Additional documentation such as photographs and/or video may be requested to further assess the issue as described and in order to confirm warranty eligibility. The original tool may be requested for exchange purposes at the sole discretion of FixxRx.

**Please note, failure to provide proof of purchase and/or supporting documentation/information to confirm warranty eligibility as requested may result in the the inability to process your warranty exchange.


Flat Iron Warranty Exchange Guidelines

Issue:  Where the flat iron no longer operates (i.e. the plates do not heat or no LED illumination).
If within 1 year warranty:  Unit may be exchanged through the original retailer with original proof of purchase. 

Issue:  Where the heating plates on the flat iron have come dislodged.
If within 1 year warranty:  Unit may be exchanged through the original retailer with original proof of purchase. 

Issue:  Intermittent power issues (i.e. where the iron will turn on and off while in the on setting).
If within 1 year warranty:  Unit may be exchanged through the original retailer with original proof of purchase. 

Issue:  An error code (Er1) is appearing on the digital display (Pro Sessions only).
If within 1 year warranty:  Unit may be exchanged through the original retailer with original proof of purchase. 

Issue:  Flat iron is physically damaged.
Units which are physically damaged (dropped, misused, etc.) are not covered under warranty.

Issue:  Flat iron does not get hot enough
All FixxRx Flat Irons heat to 220oC or 450oF.  It is the usual practice to wait for the LED to start to blink indicating the tool has reached its peak heat.  The average heating time for the flat irons is between 60 to 90 seconds. 

 

Hair Dryer Warranty Exchange Guidelines

Issue:  Where the hair dryer no longer operates (i.e. there is no air flow or heat)
If within 1 year warranty:  Unit may be exchanged through the original retailer with original proof of purchase. 

Intermittent power issues (i.e. where the hair dryer will turn on and off while in the on setting).
If within 1 year warranty:  Unit may be exchanged through the original retailer with original proof of purchase. 

Issue:  Hair Dryer is physically damaged.
Units which are physically damaged (dropped, misused, etc.) are not covered under warranty.



There is no warranty for brushes.
